Colon Hydrotherapy, a “Colonic” as it is commonly referred to, is a safe and gentle flushing of the large intestine.
It consists of cleansing the colon of accumulated, congested waste, thereby allowing the entire body to return to a more normal, healthy state of well-being.
The water flowing into the colon is body temperature and only enough enters to produce the impulse to eliminate. This process is repeated to ensure deep cleansing is achieved.
Each additive is chosen and designed to improve your health. Some of them affect your water retention and absorption, some feed your healthy bacteria in your intestine and improve their environment.
Colon dysfunction shows up in our bodies as constipation, diarrhea, foul smelling stools, gas, bloating or tenderness in the abdomen. A “normal” stool color is golden brown and does not smell offensive. It should be well formed and not be dry or pasty.
